Active region (close-up animation)

A close-up short animation of an active region on the sun’s Southwest surface. A sunspot pulling a filament (prominence) from another sunspot while some prominence being pulled towards the surface. The sun was very active the day I captured all this. Just waiting for new opportunities to capture more of this beloved star of ours.

Captured with Lunt LS50THa single-stack & Player One Neptune-M (IMX178). Edited in ImPPG and Photoshop.
